REQUIREMENTS

For the past years, trade shows have surpassed websites, email marketing and paid search to secure the top spot as B2B marketeers' biggest investment. It is surprising with such huge amounts of resources spent still no data are generated as to actually accurately measure ROI and generate exhibition statistics to make solid trade show return decisions.

Xella NV asked Adds2marketing to develop a Windows application that gathers all the visitor's intel in a back-end office manageable for the sales manager & representatives. Based on this information they are able to calculate their ROI for any exhibition they participate on.

PROJECT APPROACH

PHASE ONE - Windows App:

  • Developed windows tablet app for data collection on the number of private consumers And professionals (client and non-client)

  • The application will inform the private/professional client about one specific product of Xella based on the interest selection.

  • Based on every interest, Private/professional gets newsletter about their product and next exhibition details.

  • Ability to subscribe immediately for the Xella information days based in Belgium.

PHASE TWO - MARKETING AUTOMATION DASHBOARD

  • Developed back office for the Admin, Sales Manager and Sales representative hierarchy.

  • Admin panel collect all the entered information in the back-end office showing all data, credentials and selected fields of each private/professional consumer in order to create an extensive database for future marketing.
    - > excel file loading

  • Sales representatives and sales managers have filter features based on postal code, region and language.

PHASE THREE - Technical architecture

  • Developed windows application 8.1, 10 using Microsoft framework; that installed on tablets as well as on laptops. The application run on a mobile based (3G) connection or WIFI. 

  • Developed Admin panel functionality with PHP and MySQL technologies.

  • Back office Installed on client server counting the number of private consumers and professional clients actually visiting the stands on any given trade fare in order to accurately calculate the ROI of each trade show participation.

  • Back office dashboard, installed on client server, to visiualize the credentials subcribers to Xella infodays - when and where.

PHASE FOUR - DELIVERY

  • Implemented Windows application on multiple ipads which were installed at the trade fare stand as wel as on dealers' devices for launch at the 2015 BATIBOUW exhibition in Belgium.

  • Design of product information pages linked to user interest selections.

  • Design of XELLA emailing  with auto push to the subscribers mailbox  containing detailed product information based on indicated interests.

  • Back end Admin panel for visualization of user data and credentials.

  • Data push of user to sales managers and sales reps back office dashboard based on the users postal code, product interest and language.

  • Post exhibition - Sales process dashboard for the companies management to follow up the sales process stage of generated contact on the any given trade show.
